Who is that little one moving inside of me?

Well A LOT has happened in the last three weeks!

I began to feel baby move about 2 weeks ago. I kept feeling this sweet little "poke"-like feeling from the inside, and the feeling would stay in the same general area for a few hours. So, I knew it couldn't be gas! Haha! It's so hard to distinguish bubbles and gurgles in your belly from a baby gently moving. But once I figured out what I was feeling for... I started to notice the baby moving much more frequently. I sooooo enjoy feeling this little one move inside of me. What a miraculous thing! So much better than the beginning of pregnancy when you feel yucky, and you have nothing "tangible" to help you understand what it's all for, you know?

So, then this past Monday (1/12) was our appointment find out it our little one was a boy or a girl. What an amazing experience to sit and watch your child on a screen for 20 minutes. So awesome! The lady started at the top, looked at the baby's brain and went all the way down the little body to the toes. Baby looks completely healthy... PRAISE GOD!! However, the baby was covering his/her heart a little bit, so another sonogram was scheduled for the 9th of February to look again and double check. It finally came time for the technician to tell us the gender. I asked her, "Do you know already?". She said, "Yes... and there "it" is!" So we knew it was a BOY! I had been hoping for a girl to bring the first girl into both of our families, but God had different plans. He knows best! Now that we know who this little guy is... I have fallen completely in love with him! He seems so active and keeps reminding me that he is in there. It is so precious. I love being a mother already! :) We will probably keep his name a secret until he is born. Plus, we're still not 100% sure.

Well, it's exactly midnight, so I am now officially 20 weeks pregnant! I'M HALF-WAY THERE! That's crazy! The first half sure has gone by quickly. So, set your clocks everyone... June 6!
